Wine Tour

This past weekend was an absolute blast, filled with family, girl time, drinks, limo rides, spending a couple nights in Portland, mimosa/bloody mary bar, great conversation and amazing memories. The first stop on our wine tour was Ponzi Winery in Beaverton, and to be honest I wasn't impressed at all. You only got three tastings, the staff barley said two words to us,  the wines weren't amazing ( not sure if I agree with the American winery of the year), when they poured your tasting they didn't give you any description or information on the wine, and they acted like we were a burden. Needless we were excited to move on to the next one...

Next stop was Oak Knoll  in Hillsboro. This was my favorite wine of the three locations because it let you pick your tastings, so I was able to taste white wines. I am working on my reds, but it is a long process!  They provided you with a list of all of their wine and you got to choose 6 that you wanted to taste

Our last stop on the wine tour was Ardiri Winery in Cornelius, it was hands down the best venue I have been to. They aren't just about the wine but more so the experience. The views were amazing, the chairs were clustered around fire pits, they had blankets to cuddle with, and their tastings were good (alot of red though). I highly suggest you stop by if you are in that area, I will defiantly be going there again.

All-in-all it was a wonderful weekend spent with some amazing ladies. We acted liked we were teenage girls again and did each others hair....honestly that dang sock bun is harder then it looks and if someone tells you different, they are lying! We spent some quality time together and did some amazing people watching at the mall and took advantage of a little photo-opt. We ended the weekend perfectly at Aquariva for breakfast where we were introduced to the mimosa & bloody mary bar! I highly suggest this place, it was so fun to make your own drinks and they don't skimp on the amount of alcohol they give you and best part it was only $4. Yep, you heard me right...only $4 to make your own delicious bloody mary or mimosa.
