Coburg 5/12 - 5/1

Saturday 5/12
Naaman, Ryder Boy and I hit the road on our way to Coburg to spend some time with his family. Oh man, Ryder was so excited to be reunited with lil' Asher! And I think his favorite part was going on a family walk (2 walks in one day...what a lucky Puppy Dog!)

It was a great day hanging out with the family, and stealing cuddles from Asher!

Sunday
We had a great mothers day with Sue and Mariah (her first mothers day!) Naaman made everyone a great breakfast of french toast! Trinity and I braved it and went to Cabela's with Naaman so he can get a new rod... He was worse then a girl shopping! He couldn't make up his mind, had to call his buddies to see what they thought and on and on. We ended up leaving with nothing, but he went back TWO more times and finally made a purchase of a brand new reel.....as long as I get some salmon I am happy with that purchase!

After that all us girls + Asher went shopping, while Jordy and Naa hung out. Once again Asher was a trooper, but as you can tell by the pictures I think all that shopping wore the lil' man out....

And of course, if there is a baby sleeping...Ryder and I are the ones to steal as many cuddles as we can!   Ryder was in Heaven having lil' baby feet on him, and napped with Asher as long as he could.

All in all it was a great Mothers day, and I am blessed to call these people my family!

P.S Trinity, how did we not get one picture together!?

#4 Hike with the girlies

Indian Creek 5/12/2012

Today was an absolute beautiful day for a hike with Anna, Bella, Lous and Ryder Boy! We just went behind Anna's house and walked Indian Creek Trail. Its perfect because there are no cars and not very many people, so Bella is able to walk Ryder, and she loves it!

Bella is great with Ryder, but sometimes it gets a little out of control, and we get tangled up and there are potential injuries:)

Hike with my Boys!

Hike #3 One of Naa's fishing holes 5/6/2012
Sunday Naaman and I decided to take Ryder on a little walk. I said I wanted to go on a hike, and Naa suggested going to on of his fishing holes off of Punch Bowl Road. It was great weather and I thought it was a perfect day to get another hike to add to my list. But Naa wanted to go to a fishing hole, that hardly is considered a hike! So I told him I wanted to 'hike' not just go for a nice little stroll to a fishing hole! Well he won that argument (he lost his fishing license early that A.M so he wanted to re-trace his steps) so off to the fishing hole we went...even though I wouldn't be able to count it as a hike, i was just glad to get Ryder out for some exercise.

Boy was I wrong! Holy cow, that was some intense trails. The whole time I was thinking to myself, no wonder Naa is tired when he gets back from fishing! My calves were burning the whole time, and he does  this with a fishing pole in one hand and a vest on with all of his tackle?!? I needed both hands to hold on to rocks, trees anything I could get my hands on to so I wouldn't go rolling down the trail! So this 'little stroll' to a fishing hold defiantly counted as a hike! But it was beautiful and Ryder Boy loved being outside and running around.

Ryder was so tired after the hike, that when we got home it cuddled up with Fuzz on the pillows and went to bed for the night!

Fun Filled Weekend

I just loving being around family! Naaman and I had some great company this weekend, and are blessed to have the family we do. We had a jam packed weekend, but loved every minute of it

Friday
Naamans sister Mariah, her fiance Ryan and their sweet baby boy Asher came to visit us for the weekend. I can't even explain how in love with this little boy I am!  He is one of the best babies ever (and I am not saying this because he is family.); he cried a total of ZERO times while he was here...seriously, zero?!? I am sure you are thinking there is no possible way that he didn't cry at all, but its the truth. And he was dragged on all of our adventures! They got into HR around 7:30 and we had a pretty low key night, ate dinner and just hung out till 1am. We never stay up this late, and all four of us felt it the next day!

Saturday
Saturday we drove to Dufur so Mariah & Ryan could look at the Balch hotel for a possible wedding venue. After that the boys went to downtown Hood River to a couple breweries to have some "man time". We drug poor Asher to more wedding activities at my moms shop to look at save the dates, invitations, linens, flowers, and so forth. And he was a trooper, and was content just letting us all cuddle on him!

Sunday
Today was a busy day for us. Naaman got up early to go fishing and Ryan, Mariah & Asher left shortly after. I went to Lori's baby shower,  and it was great weather and we all had a great time, especially the little girls! I didn't get as many pictures that I would have liked, Kathryn and Betheny did a great job on the shower! After the shower Naaman and I went on a hike, more on that next post. All in all it was a great weekend, and we get to see them all next weekend in Coburg!
