Phew, finally after all of these years we have some good pictures together, where we are both dressed up! We were due for some professional pics...snapshots at weddings, football games, and weekend activities weren't cutting it anymore! Last month we had some beautiful pictures taken by the very talented Jim Semlor and had so much fun. I was definitely surprised how much fun we had and everyone who knows Naaman has to know that this really isn't up his alley, but he was amazing and provided me with many laughs, giggles and some amazing memories (it probably helped that some beer and wine was consumed before hand!) And of course, what are engagement pictures without our beloved Ryder Boy?!
Back in August we lost a very dear friend and without him Naaman and I probably would have never met! We wanted to incorporate Charlie somehow, and found the perfect way...
This next set of pictures will always make us laugh! Let me just paint a brief picture for you: Jim told us to laugh and think of something funny! So Naaman whispers something that brings a little smirk to our faces, then Jim tells us to really laugh...so we try again! And then we get another "Okay this time r.e.a.l.l.y laugh" so we awkwardly giggle and laugh some more. And finally I say "Okay if you want us to REALLY laugh we need Joe!" so of course Joe comes over and stands behind Jim.....
and pulls down his pants!!!! Literally right on the side of Tucker road, as cars are passing by, Joe takes one for the team and drops his drawers to get us to really laugh!
