Blessed with a Girl

My dear ol' friend Stefy is having a sweet baby girl! Thank goodness I can now begin to spoil her, I've passed up way to many cute clothes because I was patiently waiting counting down the days till she would find out. I am beyond excited to watch as her and Zac take on this new role of parenthood and I know they are going to be amazing in each and every way! Stefy I am so thrilled for you and can't wait to be part of this lil' cutie growing up and taking on the world. I can only imagine the adventures we are going to have with her and can't wait to give her a best friend or future husband (no, I am not preggo!) If you are only half as good at being a Mommy as you have been a friend to me, then that little girl is blessed beyond words!

Hello Fall

Cracklin' Fire
Crisp Air
Colorful Leaves
Cool Nights
Scarves
Hunter Boots
Football
Wearing Hoodies
Apple Cider
Bonefires
Pumpkin Candles
Sweater Weather
Leggings
Pumpkin Patch
Cuddling
And best of all not shaving the legs so often (you know you feel the same!)

Naaman's head is already spinning as I tell him all the things I want to do...go to the pumpkin patch - carve pumpkins - decorate our mantel - roast pumpkin seeds - make pumpkin butter -  try not to freak out at a corn maze - go to a haunted house - make pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon syrup - sip my coke n' pendleton by a bonefire - tailgate at OSU - and start Christmas shopping!

And to make Fall even better, it is the kick off to the Holidays. A time spent making amazing memories with family and dear friends. This year of Holidays marks the first year of Naaman and I celebrating them as Husband and Wife and starting to make some new traditions of our own!

Fall Weather in the Gorge

This weekend Kathryn, Mari-Beth and I did the Mosier Tunnels  and took in all the amazing sites it had to offer. I always forget (more importantly, take for granted)  that we live in such a beautiful place, until a day like this comes along and gives me a big fat wake up call. I can't even count how many times we 'oohed' and 'awed' at the breath taking views we encountered on the 4 mile walk we did.

But I must admit, I have never gone all the way to the tunnels yet. I have done the Mosier Tunnels plenty of times, but have yet to go all the way to the Tunnels! (yes kind of sad to admit)

Hike # 5 Whoop-De-Doo 9/22/2013

Mark it! Hike number 5 is in the books...I have been horrible at tracking the hikes I've done so I'm only at 5. This hike I originally did with Jarrod, Ashley and Brayden but of course forgot to count it. I decided to do it again, this time tracking it on my hiking list for the 30-by-30. Kristin, mom, MB, Anna, Mandy (can you say girl power!) and I decided to do Whoop-De-Doo trail and I must say I forgot how steep it was. Needless to say we were out of breath, but the view made it worth the pain in my legs.

Wishful Wednesday

To be in Europe traveling with my family

Oh to be making memories in Spain! Wishing it was May for many reasons, the biggest is that I will be traveling Europe with these crazy, loving, thrill seeking, honest, funny, caring, one-of-a-kind people I call family. Just having the conversation "Okay that sounds great! We will fly into London and stay for a couple of days, then head to Paris. And we need to be in Valencia Spain by Tuesday so we can help get ready for the big day!" still seems unreal to me. Honestly a trip of a life time and I can't imagine traveling with anyone else, I mean how could you not want to go with all of these wonderful people...

How could wishful wednesday not be about traveling for 3 weeks with all of these amazing people and finally going on a little honeymoon with Naaman? The month of May I need you in my life pronto!
