Tree Hunting

A couple weeks ago Naaman and I went with the Belcher's to go find our Christmas tree! I love Christmas, and always think back to when Mari-Beth and I were younger and we got our own little Christmas trees in our room to decorate, when we got to open up 1 present on Christmas Eve and it always was pajamas, rocking out to the Beach Boys Christmas cassette tape, being surround by family, having dad video tape us, MB opening e.v.e.r.y. single present so slowly; asking for a pocket knife to cut the tape off first, then before opening the present she would fold the paper into a nice little square, and then proceed to finally open it (drove me nuts!),  making cookies for Santa, and walking down the stairs Christmas morning to an absolutely beautiful tree and seeing the biggest smile on Mom and Dad's face.

Christmas is always something I look forward to because it means family! Aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends and so many loved ones. It crazy to think this is the last year before Naaman and I will start splitting Holidays. Yes its crazy to think we have been together for so long, and have yet to spend Christmas together...this Thanksgiving was our first big holiday together:)

Well to get back on track, we headed into the woods to find that perfect  tree! We were so excited to get the tree all set up and have the wonderful smell of Christmas in our house!
