6 of 31: Experience

Day Six:
What one thing would you be most disappointed if you never got to experience it?
To follow from the beginning start here

Hands down becoming a parent! I can never remember a time where I didn't want to have kids, and I am patiently waiting until the time is 'right' for us to take on that new role. I've been lucky enough to watch Bella, Brayden and Lou's grow up and have seen first hand how exciting it is to watch them rollover for the first time, learn the alphabet, tell you they love you, make a complete mess of a room, run to you crying, giggle uncontrollably, and simply the pure joy of watching them be kids. The love I have for those 3 munchkins is special so I can only imagine watching my own child learn, make mistakes, and take on this thing we call life.

5 of 31: Pass Time

Day Five
What are 3 ways you like to pass time at night
To follow from the beginning start here

1. I am a pinterest-junkie. Love everything about it
2. Cuddling...I honestly will never pass up a cuddle session
3. Catch up on my T.V shows. I'll admit I watch a lot way too many shows

Our Thanksgiving

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had so much to be thankful for this Holiday and enjoyed celebrating our first Holiday as Mr & Mrs. We spent Thanksgiving up at my parents house and the boys took advantage of the day and went on a trager/smoker frenzy! Smoked goose jerky, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, mozzarella cheese and salmon...I was in heaven

After our bellies were full, the boys took advantage of a quick snooze then it was out to enjoy fire! It was a great Thanksgiving filled with many laughs, great food, rummikub, and one-of-a-kind family.

4 of 31 Questions: 16 year old self

Day Four
List 10 things you would tell your 16 year old self, if you could
To follow from the beginning start here

1. Focus more on academics then your social life.
2. Your 'big problem' really isn't that big. You will forget it/move past it/learn from it before you realize it, and you'll look back wishing that those 'big problems' were the problems you were dealing with as an adult
3. Be kind. At your 20 year reunion no one will remember or care if you were the best dressed, the smartest or had the hottest boyfriends. They will remember if you were nice to them.
3. You're not fat! Honestly you will look back at your 16 year old self and be like "damn! I honestly thought I was fat!?"
4. Believe in yourself. Even though you think there is no way you are going to pass this test, get a good grade or learn anything....keep going!
5. You're allowed to change your mind, just because you made the choice to play a certain sport, date a certain guy, take a certain class...you are allowed to change your mind. Do what makes you happy
6. Respect your parents. Turns out, they do know what they are talking about and are doing what is best for you
7. Don't let what someone say or thinks about you define what you think about yourself
8. A boy will not complete you or make your life perfect. Even though you think they are the 'one', chances are they aren't. So you will go through break-ups and heart-breaks,  and even though you think there is no way you'll ever get over them....somehow you do and you'll look back and realize you were so young and naive.
9. Don't let anyone else determine your self-worth
10. Simply enjoy being 16. You only have 52 Saturday's to have fun, create memories and simply be a care-free 16 year old girl!

Doing the list during the Holiday season makes this list so much easier!

3. Getting ready to fly to Vegas next week and planning our Europe trip in May
4. Sitting in front of the fire place,  Christmas music blasting, tree lit, sweat pants on, Ryder sleeping by my side as I wrap Christmas presents
5. Being blessed with so many friends and family being pregnant, and realizing that both MB and I could become Mommies next year!

2 of 31 Questions: Fears

Day Two
Describe 2 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears
To follow from the beginning start here

1. The Dark
Honestly I am terrified of the dark! I have no idea when I became scared of it, but for as long as I can remember I've hated it. I make Naaman stand on the front porch to watch me if I have to go outside for any reason, I hardly ever spend the night by myself and if I do, I lock myself in my room, blast music and call Naaman way to often. I don't think I am necessarily sacred of the dark, more so things in the dark.

2. Getting Into A Car Accident
When I was I 16 I got into an accident where I feel asleep at the wheel and hit two cars head on while having my cruise control set to 55mph.  Hitting one car is bad, hitting two cars is worse and getting trapped in your car when the engine catches on fire is something I can't even describe. I am not sure how I made it out of that one, but to this day I still get nervous driving and getting into the car with people. Poor Naaman has to deal with me constantly telling him to slow down, pay attention, or simply shutting my eyes so I don't freak out!

31 QUESTIONS

To change things up a little, everyday in December I will be answering a question from this little gem I found on Pinterest, on ways to pass time and learn new things about your better half. So as I am answering these questions on here, Naaman and I are going to play along as well!  Each night durning dinner or before bed we are going to answer the questions, even though it feels like we know everything about one another it will be interesting to hear each others answers and opinions! So enjoy, and play along if you can convince your guy to join in on the fun!

5. I am terrified of the dark. I've tried to overcome that, but it just doesn't work. Me letting Ryder out at night by myself..forget it! My mom walking me to my car if it is dark...something I'm okay with admitting.  Me walking as fast as I can to the bathroom at night....of course! Me having slumber parties with my parents when Naaman is out of town...not weird at all!
