It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!

Anna, Auntie M, Bella, Lou's & I went to the Christmas parade this year downtown! It was so much fun to see the girlies get so excited over all the lights, Santa, candy, The Grinch and of course seeing Papa Craig riding on one of the floats! We decided to make a date of it, and headed to dinner afterwards and enjoyed listening to Bella talk about the parade and getting so excited to share all of her candy that she got! I unfortunately didn't get too many great pictures, because Anna took alot, but hopefully I will get them for her and I'll post more soon!

Pinterest Party Round 2

I love getting together with friends and hanging out, and it gets even better when great food and crafts get thrown into the mix! We headed over to Maggie's house for our pinterest party and ate amazing food, busted out some projects, giggled, passed baby Ellie around, and played Wii!

Just in case you are wondering what that white 'mess' in the bowl is, its the craziest combination and will probably most defiantly sound crazy! It is pudding, cool whip, apples and snickers! So as weird as that sounds, it seriously tasted amazing!

Civil War

Since civil war was in Corvallis this year Naaman and I decided to go. We drove up to Corvallis friday night at crashed at the Krahn's house so we could avoid all the dang traffic on Saturday morning. But before we went to corvallis I had to sew some beaver socks for my rain boots! Naaman and I struggled just a wee bit with the sewing maching....

Since we couldn't get our machine to work Anna took over the task and finished them..Okay pretty much started and finished them, with the 'help' from Bella

So once my socks were made I was ready for the game! We had such a great time seeing friends and family, and even though we didn't win, we are glad we went! It was also Charlie's birthday, so it perfect being in Corvallis and being able to see Clay...there were defiently some beers drank in memory of Charlie!

Thanksgiving

This years Thanksgiving was a celebrated a little different then normal for me, the whole Ortega side was in Washington at the Groeschell's house, MB & Joe went to Jason's house and mom, dad, Naa and I stayed in Hood River. This was the first year where I wasn't surrounded by tons of family:( Naaman's dad came to celebrate Thanksgivings with us and spent the night, so it was great seeing him and having him be with my family.

Thanksgiving morning/early afternoonish we went up to the Poole's house to see Ben, Amy and the girlies...it was so great seeing them, and made us realize just how special they are to us. Once Rick got into town it was time to head up to my parents house and start Thanksgiving! And of course all the guys went straight to the BBQ!

I am not sure how I managed to not get a single picture of Naaman and I together, it was our first Thanksgiving spent together! I know crazy, the whole time we have been together we haven't spent a Thanksgiving or Christmas together...so sharing Holiday's will be a new thing for us:)

Birch Box

Woohoo I finally got my first birch box, and am madly in love...why did it take me so long to get this? Oh yea that have a crazy waiting list cuz it is so amazing! I was so excited when Naaman told me I had a package on the table and go even more excited when I saw it was my first birch box. I am in love with the mascara I got and perfume...can't wait for the next package

Wedding Update

We are 235 days until the big day, and we are checking things off our list left & right! Engagement pictures were taken, bridesmaids dresses ordered, save the dates picked and....wait for it.....WEDDING DRESS PICKED!!!! Yep, you heard that right, I officially have a wedding dress. My Mom, MB and I went into Portland to look for dresses, and found one! I was so nervous that I wouldn't find anything but much to my surprise I fell madly in love with two dresses! When I was in dress #1 I knew this was my dress, but then when I would put on dress #2 I was certain that it was my dress. So I closed my eyes and told Mari-Beth to pick my wedding dress. Yep, I gave the huge decision to MB, and she picked my dress!

So the dress is checked off, which is a huge relief! We are on a roll and keep checking things off left and right. And what's better then drinking wine while working on the wedding!?
